Synopsis of Administration Group Meeting

Completion of the sanctuary is still ongoing. Progress is being made with the Diocesan Liturgical Group.
Newletter
Items for inclusion in the newsletters can be sent to AM, SR or AH.
The rota is being provided by JH. Blaisdon has issued a 3 month schedule, others should be encouraged to advise JH or AH when on holiday.
Administration
The move of the office into the annexe is progressing well. A new adjoining door between the current office and the annexe has been constructed, an alcove has been prepared to house the photocopier and a cupboard with shelving has been established in the existing office.
JB has acquired office furniture at no cost, part has been received with the remainder awaiting delivery instructions.
The annexe now requires decoration. Wall preparation is to commence 2nd Feb, with painting to commence 16th Feb. Volunteers required.
The carpet will be of similar lines to that in the Church room.
A new PC is needed. An appeal will be put in the newsletter.
The PC and peripheral specifications and costs are to be investigated.
The contents of the office need to be radically reduced before the move takes place. AH is currently going through the files, and would like some help shredding etc.
The aim is to be in the annexe before Easter.
Website
Good feedback on the website has been received to date.
MR would like someone to take over responsibility due to the demands on his time from the Finance Group. It was agreed that a Web Group is to be established.
AOB
Agreed that another notice board which facilitates messages to be displayed outside the church should be pursued.
OLL statue is blessed and can be used for plenary indulgences.
The stained glass windows which were removed during the OLLI renovation are currently in storage. Consideration will be given where to house them.
