DIOCESE levy on our parish for 2010
Each year the diocese, around November, finalise a diocese budget for the following year and inform each parish of their own required contribution, the levy.
This levy is calculated from the last financial return made by the parish. i.e. The Parish Levy for 2010 is calculated from our financial return for 2008.
Not all the financial return is used in the calculation of the levy.

For 2010 the levy is calculated at 47.5% so the
Levy for year 2010 is £10,717 (£893 a month)
This compares with a total levy in 2009 of £9,925.
